Position Mission
 Lead India's most advanced Engineering Procurement ecosystem for Luxury, Supercar, Hybrid and Electric Vehicles by sourcing technically correct, genuine, traceable, VIN-compatible, software-compatible and cost-effective components delivered on time. 
 
Who We Are Looking For
 An Engineering Procurement Leader—not a traditional Purchase Manager—with expertise in luxury vehicles, global sourcing, technical validation, supplier development, commercial negotiation and long-term supplier partnerships. 
 
Experience
 10–20 years (Preferred 12–18 years) in Luxury Automotive, OEM, Premium Parts Distribution or Engineering Procurement.
 Preferred Age: 35–50 years (exceptional candidates may be considered). 
 
Education
 B.E. Mechanical / Automobile Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
 MBA in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
 Professional Procurement Certification will be an added advantage.

Engineering Procurement
Source technically correct components based on engineering specifications and OEM requirements.  
 Ensure procurement decisions support accurate diagnosis, quality repairs, vehicle safety, and workshop efficiency.  
 Collaborate with technical teams to identify engineering solutions for complex repair requirements.  
 
Global Sourcing
 Identify and develop reliable domestic and international suppliers for luxury, supercar, hybrid, and electric vehicle components.
 Evaluate global sourcing opportunities to ensure availability, quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.  
 Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, authorized distributors, and international vendors.  
 
Technical Validation
 Verify the technical suitability of every component before procurement.  
 Ensure compatibility with vehicle specifications, engineering drawings, and OEM repair procedures.  
 Minimize procurement errors through detailed technical assessment.  
 
Supplier Development
 Identify, evaluate, onboard, and continuously develop high-performing suppliers.  
 Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery, responsiveness, and commercial competitiveness.  
 Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.  
 
Cost Optimisation
 Negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining product quality and authenticity.  
 Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and process improvements.  
 Balance procurement costs without compromising engineering standards or customer satisfaction.  
 
Genuine Parts Sourcing
 Ensure procurement of genuine OEM or OEM-approved replacement components.  
 Eliminate counterfeit, substandard, or unauthorized parts from the supply chain.  
 Maintain complete traceability and authenticity of all purchased components.  
 
VIN Compatibility
 Verify all components using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to ensure exact fitment.  
 Prevent incorrect part procurement by validating model year, variant, and production specifications.  
 Coordinate with OEM parts catalogues and technical databases.  
 
Software Compatibility
 Ensure procured electronic components are compatible with vehicle software versions and control modules.  
 Verify coding, programming, calibration, and software update requirements before procurement.  
 Coordinate with diagnostic engineers to confirm software integration requirements.  
 
Inventory Planning
 Maintain optimum inventory levels for fast-moving, critical, and high-value engineering components.
 Analyse consumption trends, lead times, and demand forecasts to optimize stock availability.  
 Reduce inventory carrying costs while preventing stock shortages.   
 
Cross-Functional Coordination
 Work closely with Service Advisors, Diagnostic Engineers, Workshop Managers, Inventory, Finance, and Quality teams.  
 Ensure timely procurement to support workshop productivity and customer delivery commitments.  
 Facilitate effective communication across departments to resolve procurement-related issues.  
 
Commercial Negotiation
 Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, warranties, logistics, delivery schedules, and service agreements.  
 Secure the best commercial value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.  
 Prepare and manage contracts, purchase agreements, and supplier performance reviews.  
 
Quality Assurance
 Ensure all procured components comply with OEM quality standards and technical specifications.  
 Conduct supplier quality evaluations and monitor product performance.  
 Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and continuously improve procurement processes.
