Compensation: As per industry standards – 6 LPA
Reporting To: CEO & Plant Head
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Manager to build and manage the HR function for our growing junction box manufacturing startup. This role requires someone who can set up HR processes from scratch, manage workforce requirements across factory and corporate functions, and drive a strong people culture aligned with business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and implement HR policies, processes, and systems in a startup environment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant operations, production, quality, supply chain, and corporate roles
- Handle onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle management
- Develop and implement performance management systems (KPI/KRA)
- Ensure statutory compliance related to labor laws, PF, ESI, Factory Act, and other regulations
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
- Drive employee engagement, retention strategies, and workplace culture
- Support training & development initiatives for shop floor and staff employees
- Work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Maintain HR records, documentation, and compliance audits
Required Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM in HR or related field
- 5–7years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setup
- Experience in handling plant HR operations is highly preferred
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience in recruitment and HR operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Excel
