Job Title: Internal Chartered Accountant (CA)
Location: Begumpet, Hyderabad
Reports to: CEO
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Chartered Accountant to lead and manage the internal finance function in a startup setup. The role requires someone who can operate independently, build processes from scratch, and support business growth through strong financial governance, compliance, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and streamline accounting systems, processes, and internal controls from ground up
• Manage complete accounting cycle including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and management reports for leadership review
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements
• Handle internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and consultants
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, and support cost optimization initiatives
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and vendor payments in a lean startup environment
• Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and due diligence processes
• Track and manage government subsidies, incentives, and compliance related to solar/manufacturing sector
• Work closely with founders and cross-functional teams on financial planning and business strategy
Required Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• 2–6 years of post-qualification experience
Key Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and compliance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment
• Hands-on experience with Tally / Zoho / ERP systems
• Strong MS Excel and financial modeling skills
• Problem-solving mindset with ownership attitude
• Good communication and ability to work directly with leadership
