Job Description
Sous Chef - Pan Asian for luxury hotels in Kuwaitoversees hot/cold station operations, menu development, and staff training, requiring 1-3 years of experience in high-end Asian cuisine, strong leadership, and knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards. Key requirements include proficiency in sushi, wok, or Asian specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations of the Pan Asian kitchen to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and high-quality food standards.
Menu & Quality Control: Assist in developing new, authentic Pan Asian dishes, recipe maintenance, and ensuring consistent presentation.
Team Management: Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Hygiene & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with HACCP and international hygiene standards.
Cost Control: Support with inventory management, food costing, and minimizing waste.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a Junior Sous Chef or 3-4 years as a Chef de Partie in 5-star hotels or premium restaurants.
Specialty: Strong expertise in Pan Asian cuisine, including Wok, Sushi, or Cold Kitchen.
