Major General R.S. Chhatwal (Retd.) is an alumni of the prestigious National Defence Academy and College of Defence Management,Secunderabad. He completed his M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and MBA from Symbiosis,Pune. After his distinguished service with the Indian Army spanning 37 years, he has been instrumental in transforming prestigious organisations/institutions as Director General of Amity University of Rajasthan, Jaipur; Director, Army Institute of Technology, Pune and Director, MBS College of Engineering and Management, Jammu. He has set up a start up in education and leads it as the Chief Executive Officer. He is currently responsible for developing it into a high quality institution and make it a global leader in providing cutting edge higher education leveraging technology. The start up has been pioneer across the globe in successfully implementing outcome based education to Engineering domain. His start up sowed the seed of multiple reforms in Indian Education especially in engineering education. He has also been an established coach for CEOS & Founders of Start Ups in India & US. He has been a global speaker on education, project, program management & agile. He also provides consulting to various corporates and educational institutes to implement outcome based learning, set up incubation centers, and develop talent and capacity. He also mentors few start ups to scale new heights.Before his stint at start up, Hirdesh was with Tech Mahindra for a decade and led Project & Program Management Center of Excellence & Vertical Schools.
